This documentary photographic series captures death as a natural and inevitable aspect of human existence. With sensitivity, it documents the process of dying in both home and hospital settings, as well as the subsequent care of the deceased body within the context of funeral rituals.

Through collaboration with end-of-life doulas, companions, medical professionals, and funeral service workers, the project offers a rare glimpse behind the curtain of the intimate final moments of life.

The project reflects on the profound importance of how we leave this world, how it affects those who remain, and how it points to the need for open public discussion about death and dying.

Here, death is not treated as a taboo, but as an act of dignity, presence, and human solidarity. The resulting photographs invite introspection into our own lives and an awareness of how fragile and precious they are.
